As you can see from the photos there has been a substantial outlay of funds for new parts/powder coating etc and ,while I know I will never get back what I have put in, I am hoping to get some back that is why I am asking for $1650 o.n.o
please note that the new Works Performance rear shock cost me $750 on its own.

You've even got one of those front number plate/drink bottles! ;D
Did we get those in Australia?
Regardless, looks like a bargain for someone.
Good luck with it, God. ;)

1980 only I believe, it's a rare thing either way.

What a bargain!! What type of footpegs are they?

Generic chinese jobs, had the same set on my IT175 too.

For any east coasters keen on this I can point you in the right direction on making freight economical, well as economical as its gonna get. I just sorted my transport for CG's IT175 project I recently purchased. Motorcycle freighters won't touch project bikes or non rollers in bits and pieces, I ended up getting a motorcycle freighter to provide the crate and crate up all the bits ($250) then have the crate picked up from their transport depot by a separate company and have brought to a depot in melbournes ($385) west for me to retrieve. Any keen can contact me for the details.
Cheers, Brendan

I haven't really started the restoration much, just powder coating and parts collecting, the bike was a complete runner when I got it. I dismantled it and left it as you see it...
http://www.bikepics.com/members/cycleman/81tt250h/
The new parts I have are:
1, 2x front and rear mudguards
2, 2x right side covers and 1 left
3, Speedo and key switch plus modified IT200 mount
4, Bash plate, air filter and 34mm CV carb
5, Custom finned oil filter cover and headlight socket
6, LED idicator globes and flasher relay
7, Full clutch kit plus springs, front and rear wheel bearing kits
8, Fork seals and DC plastics side cover set
9, Lever assemblies, left switchblock, tail light and F+R indicators
10, De-comp cable and swingarm chain sliders
11, Stator/sprocket cover, swingarm bearing kit (to suit YZ250E swing arm)
12, White Brothers stage 1 cam, tool bag, and F+R brake shoes
13, Works Performance rear shock, full gasket and o-ring set
14. Exhaust wrap, chain, handlebars and pads, speedo cable
15, Sprockets (to suit YZ wheel) fr brake light switch
16, Side stand bolt and spring, rear brake rod, spring, wingnut and rod cover
17, OEM style hand guards, tank cover, chain tensioner block
18, Seat cover (fitted), tank straps, gear shift shaft
Additional used parts I bought were:
1, IT425G forks (very nice condtion)
2, YZ250E swingarm
3, 2x left side covers
4, Gas tank
5, Headlight assembly + shroud
6, Front plate/water bottle + repro decal
I have a couple of boxes of used parts that came off the bike along with wiring loom etc
and I have a box of separate item which were destined for zinc plating.
Nothing was missing except for the speedo/mirrors/horn and indicators when I bought it
I would be the first to admit that starting a project at this early stage is a mammoth undertaking
but the result would be a very desireable machine.
Delivery to a 3rd party to box everything up and crate for transport is no problem for me so let me know as it will be going on eBay soon.

A nice collection of parts you have there. I recognise that left hand side cover you bought from me a little while ago on Ebay. Good to see it go to good use. The second bike I ever owned was a TT250H, tough reliable old bus, learnt alot on that bike. Top job so far, keep the pics coming.

I've got these Chinese forged stainless steel pegs on all of my bikes. Before someone comes on here with the "I wouldn't use that Chinese shit on my bikes" spiel I'll let you in on to the little secret that these are pretty much the very same pegs that sell in USA trendy brand packaging for $110+. They all come from the same factory in China.

If it's not sold by Xmas I will sort out the sellable parts and the rest can go to the tip, which would be a crying shame not to have been able to save another classic.
-
Ending on eBay tomorrow, if want it bid now before it's gone forever.
-
Not sold, I guess nobody wanted it, I will sort out all the good bits and put up a list with photos and prices and separate sell everything, anything left will be thrown away to the tip.
-
What happened to this gear and bike?

What happened to this gear and bike?
It was sold to Xtrememotorbikes in Perth who completed the resto and sold the bike.
-
OK, I think I saw it for sale.
Any bits left over?
