Ok, what have I done?  ::)
I did a little research and found that rod kts are 150 bucks, piston kits 130, cable 15 etc, so I figured it wouldn't be too silly to get ridable again.

What have I missed.....  ???

well you've missed markup/profit margin when you re-sell it a few weeks later ;D

Looks like a bargain to me, do the work yourself and it'd be a cheap enough resto.

I hope not. I've never owned a trials bike before but have always wanted to give it a shot. Plus I really enjoy my time in the shed these days and I guess there'd be no shortage of that with one of these?  :D

I am not in the market to buy it, nor am l in the market to do a cheap restro and then sell it to rip some one off.

You Are ready wrong tony, Mainline made the comment towards me, I am defending myself with my comment, and its not about you tony.
Restoring a bike if bought cheap or not, to do a good restoration is costly, even a half baked restoration can also get costly.

Got it!   ;D Sorry for jumping the gun.
You are right about any resto. There's a saying that there's nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes.
That may well apply here........  :-\
According to the owner, it may well be the case, but it should be fun finding out.  :D

Hey Tony,
I reckon with a bit of 'shed time' you could get an SP370 engine in there...

I know you have a few spares so it would only cost your time.  ;D

Wash your mouth out!  ;D Why would you ruin a beautiful, rare, exotic bike by putting it in an Ossa chassis.......  :P :P :P

And yeah, shortshifter, I'm surprised at how easy bit seem to be to come by.
There's a couple in front of it in the queue, but I am looking forward to owning my first ever plonker.  8)

P.S. thanks for the heads up on this one, Paul.
