VMX Central is pleased to announce that the Johnny Old VMX will be held on Saturday 31st March 2012 at the same venue as previous... Kukutauaki Road, Levin.
Format will be similar to last event held in 2010.
Entries will open at a later date.
This was a fantastic event for both riders and spectators.

What's that track like Davey.. is that the one that was featured on here a while back with some good hills and drop-offs?
-
Thats the one John you would really enjoy it :) a too day meet would be the icing on the cake though ;)
-
Yeah you guys have some great tracks.. gotta get over there one day :)
-
Approx. what does it cost to ship a bike to this meet from Sydney and what lead time would you think
-
It's a long way to take a bike just to look at it, Ted

First of all what does Kukutauaki mean and can we bring some outfits???
Just a note on the 2 day format----We just had the Conondale Classic last weekend and it ran over 2 days with 2 races saturday and one on sunday followed by some novelty relay events and a "last man standing" event at the end. The reason I mention it is as not only did it make for a more laid back event but it also encouraged folks to travel further to the event and it also wound up nice and early so we could get home. Not to mention some frivolity on the sat night. Great format all round.
sorry about the thread hike.

You can call the clothes you wear anything you like Vaughn.....but an "outfit"......I new you where weird. ;D

aw shit Crocket-you caught us out-but hey if someone wants to dress up it's socially accepted these days-that and muslims so it seems.

That's my choice of airline for the AU-NZ journey too. The best value for money in the air.
