Great track. I think a couple of you Aussies had a good day. Maybe a couple more Aussies should have come over to race this track.....  ;)   ;D

Very fast racing today, and the weather got better and better.


Steve 'Do I have to live up to that name' Shirriffs, and believe me he does live up to the name.


Mike 'The Rat' Marshal, he raced at the Conondale Classic a few years ago.

Yeah, some very nice photos there. Looks like a great meeting and a very nice track. The track is very similar to one we used to have over here on the South Coast - Coopers Gully. Love that sort of thing - nice natural surface, elevation changes, some great switchbacks. Beeyootiful.

yep i cant understand why more racers arent on scramble tracks.   Its the only way to be pre 75 freindly in any weather.

You can not beat natural terrain tracks , Brilliant love to have the opportunity to ride that scramble track ( man made tracks suck.

Over 130 riders to this meeting with over 200 bikes entered into classes. WOW!!! what a day!!!
PS.... helicopter wasn't required ( thank goodness )

The Track was just a couple of K's north of Levin in the north Island. This track was used in the '70s and '80s and brought to life again by the local vmx guys, (it has alot of history). The whole communitity got behind it and the event ran like clockwork.
