Title: Parts from England
Post by: Mike52 on June 16, 2011, 09:44:25 am
I had some trouble with the HVA-Factory mob in England not sending parts and not replying to emails a while back.
Ended up getting the stuff after making a pain of myself and have never been back.
Was at CD8 talking to a bunch of Husqvarna loving mates  and one mentioned that he,d been waiting over a month for parts ordered and paid for from HVA. :o
It usually takes 2 weeks to get stuff out of England.
Their new policy is a minimum order from Aus of 100 pound , so not getting the parts can hurt.
If you are buying bits off this mob take care and only pay with paypal then you might get something .
Good Luck.

On Husky forums around the world there are people reporting that they've been ripped off by HVA factory. Personally, I lost over $1000 to these crooks.

you need to get people on the ground to go in the shop and buy the stuff over the counter for you to stop this kind of issue.

HI all Huskdoggg made a good point he like myself are sick to death these scumbags ripping us off with dodgy stock or not at all this forum has a lot of members and the visitors included that is a hell of a lot of buying power and as a collective we should not tolerate this crap

we need to start a catagory for good places to buy items like ebay finds, fotos, for example and every one can recommend a good trader and if they are make specific eg honda state that, or if they do i bit of everything say that aswell ,there is no reason for us to throw away our money these people need us so i ask the administarer can you add a catagory like this cause in this format it will always be there to reference unlike normal posts that are out of view in a couple of days

For instance a special subject marked 'Recomended suppliers New Parts' with a facility for adding or removing traders as deemed necessary. ??
Or perhaps a buyers rating system?
 cheers pancho.
  PS Might cause probs.

What about under each makes board eg Husky, suz, yam etc have a thread titled 'recommended/trusted suppliers' then make it a 'sticky' so it stays at the top of each bike board and then people can just add to that thread. Making it a sticky ensures it doesnt get lost after a few weeks which is what we did before. The thread starter can make it a sticky, there is a button for that somewhere. Then you wont always have newbies asking where to get stuff and they can just read through that thread.

What about under each makes board eg Husky, suz, yam etc have ONE thread titled 'recommended/trusted suppliers' then make it a 'sticky' so it stays at the top of each bike board and then people can just add to that thread.

Thats it !! easy !! .......or it may end up being like the ride places in each state and not fully utilized.
cheers A

Ah so i'm not the only one, I've sent an email asking for bits for my 82 WR430 to HVA and Vintage Husky and got nothing back? There's no way i'm going to spend my hard earned with someone who can't be bothered replying emails. The sticky subject for reliable and good parts sources sounds like a great idea. So were can i get bits for my bike? Cheers Dewy

Just a follow up on the original post.
Remembered last week to ask my mate if he had received his parts.
Apparently they are on their way. ??? ???
I wonder if he will get them and how long  he has been waiting now ?
I know he ordered them for CD8. :o
Sounded upset. ;D
