Hej Ola,

You will need 230cc -235cc in each fork leg, that is for a dry fork leg after strip and clean. Make sure the air escape valves in the caps are clean and functional. You can check them by using your standard gas leak detector(healthy amount of dish washing liquid mixed with water in a spray bottle). Spray it on your caps, then compress your forks. You will need to service/repair your bleed valves, if you don't witness air bubbles escaping from each cap.

For your 4 speed transmission Ola, you will need one liter. Or use the level screw if your more comfortable with confirmation.

Great, thanks! ;D   I've blown through the caps with compressed air.

But isn't my engine 5 speed? Suddenly became unsure. I'll use the levelscrew anyway.

By the way, Hej is sweedish, in Norwegian it's Hei. :)

Apologies Ola, I looked at your details first, all hidden. I assumed you were Swede, bad guess on my part ::)

In 1975 the 400 radials were still 4 speeds, usually with gear cases prefixed U407, if it is an MC. In 1975 The five speed was only introduced into the 250, and it was full of design flaws. It will be a 75er, if you have a frame prefixed 321. If it is a five speed radial 400 engine? it will be a 76 or 77 engine. Sounds like you may have a "hybrid" Ola. Any pictures ? or engine number prefix?.

I was wrong Mick. The 400 is a 4 speed, frame: 3211046 engine: U407295

Since you seem to be into numbers: My 125 wich I think is a -75, frame: 881871
My GS175 wich I think is a -57, frame: 209391
 :)

Hei Ola, I am very confident your 125 frame is a 1975 model.

I can't help with your 175 but. I have absolutely no reference or knowledge of them.

Cheers.
