Thanks Maicogirl. Is it important to measure the cheese and Cabonossi as accurately as you have shown or is it possible to cut them in a more rustic, natural way for that "country farm' feel to your presentation?
Also, can you reccomend an alternative to Cabonossi for those amongst us prone to flatulance caused by Cabonossi's high spice quotient? Perhaps an unobtrusive young Mortadella?
-
this how it done Mr Mark. Cut to standard! if I get arguments from peoples about this I lock thread and remove in 2 days. (as for different meats) i dunno Firko. $1.26 a kilo at Ryans Foodmaster
I have to let you all no that no aminals were hurt in the making of this but the dog wont come out from under the table

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
That is the funniest thing I have ever seen on this forum. I have tears running down my face.
Well done - although it would seem someone has a little too much time on their hands ::)
-
Must be getting close to CD7 time - Maicogirl is practicing her wylie charms to seduce the unwary ;D.
The quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach hey Maicogirl ;) :D. (Preferably with a 9 inch stiletto as my wife would say ::).)

Thankyou Maico girl,
i now have a better understanding why Maico frames are chromoly or NOT and have these cracking issues i hear about. This race diet you are on is very informative but sorry i`m pissing myself laughing. :D :D :D
-
Congratulations on your presentation MaicoGirl, but being a bit stupid I placed red cocktail onions indespreced with the green version, it that a presentation faux pas? If so, do you have any ideas for red cocktail onions and perhaps a Philadelphia cream cheese based dip that's not too spicy?
-
Oh Mr Firko, do not deviate from the said recipe or thread shall be locked for eternity or until Maico has a real come back, which ever comes first.
red cocktail onions indeed. next you will swapping Cruskits for Salada's and we all know that is not in the spirit of the dish.

How come the dial indicator is only showing 1.22mm with big fat sausage fingers pressing down on it? Why no Bratwurst Weisswurst or Salami? A very sub standard platter 3/10
-
Geezuz! I just got home and half the tools from the shed are in the kitchen, there's pickled onion and cheese from a*sehole to breakfast and the animals are acting very weird.... ???
-
wheres the train?
-
that maico girl is a son off a gun 8)
-
Popgun !
-
Stop sidetracking the thread, what's Maico girls reason for scandalously not using red cocktail onions? And why no Jatz or those ever so tasty rice crackers? Without a French Onion dip, Arnotts Jatz Crackers and Bega cheese, Maico girls cheese platter ensemble' lacks a certain amount of Aussie BBQ cred and wouldn't pass Department of Sport and Recreation standards set down for cheese platters (Australian Standards:Cheese Platters and assoc. party hors d'ouvres: ch.6 :3:17:e. ).

Firko - todays pain killers haven't kicked in yet have they ;D
-
Firko, perhaps you are being a little harsh and not being sensitive to Maicogirls cultural heritage? Where's your empathy? If she was raised in East Germany there would likely been a paucity of available ingredients and her state appointed mother would have used party approved materials - such a multicultural assortment of ingredients as you suggest would not have been appropriate. However, should she have been raised in West Germany there may be a fervent deepseated aversion to anything 'Red' and hence the use of white vegetables only.
As Vic Krause used to say "You should have known"

As Vic Krause used to say "You should have known"
I'm sorry. :-[ BUT if the Eastern bloc background is the reason...where's the Bratwurst, blood sausage and pretzels?
