TS 185 engine, preferably 1974 vintage. Will be rebuilding top and bottom end, so doesnt need to be complete and in running order.
Located in Brisbane, will be going to CD7 so could pick up from there.

??? what are you up to now?
-
TSM185: TM125 roller with TS185 ported etc. If only I can find an engine.... ::)
-
there is a tm125 motor for sale on ebay if you want a tm125 with tm125 running gear.
-
I have this very good condition clutch cover if it's any good to you, $35 + postage. I'm also in Brisbane if interested. I'm also going to CD-7.

Here's the out side shot.
Sorry, for some reason I can't send another pic. Any suggestions?
-
Well thanks, thats a start. Just have to find the accessories to go with it: clutch, crankshaft, gears, etc. :D
Anyway it looks great and I will take it thanks. Will be at CD7 - look for the white van marked Lloyd Lawrence Electronics. My riding number is 138.
Cheers,
Stewy.

Thanks for the tip Michael - will have a look at that one. I have two TM125s - one engine isnt finished but complete ready to build. But I cant race them both so thats why the TSM185 idea.

Hey, stewy, just buy mine when it's done :D, it has all the trick bits and some spares including another kit pipe.

My Dad had a 74 tm125 and a mt250 bought another mt250 but not the tm125 yet.

Hey CG - yes I was going to mention that I partly got the idea from you. You used the term 'TSM185' on one of your posts and thought, well why not !!
Bill - you arent coming over to Classic Dirt this year ? Even so I guess would be hard to bring the engine as carry on luggage. If you can ship with that bike I definitely want the engine: 150 plus shipping sounds fair.
Thanks,
-
So where the hell are all the old TS185s?? they would be awesome for a 'bucket' class.
-
so in this ts185 bucket class are ports/carbs/pipes and internal tranny ratio's open as in mod the fork out of every thing ??? ;D ;D
-
Sure why not, you could hardly get homologation papers for one could you.
If yours went twice as fast as everyone else, we would make you start with your hands on your helmet ;)

Yep were coming to CD7 :) however since the paranoia that some rag head will blow the bloody plane up they now make it really hard to cart motors ::)
Iv'e written to all the major airlines explaining that "if they put on 2 planes , one for the rag heads and one for the rest of us then this should fix the problem :) Iv'e had a number of responses but they all hinge on the fact that some people will be offeneded by the segregation ::) Iv'e written back expaining that if they only half fill the rag head express they could fill it up with the offended moaning do gooders :)
Other benefits include we can all get to the airport half hour before not 3 hours before departure and you could have a set menu , fish & chips on one and curry on the other :)
However apparantly my recomendations wont be accepted overnight ::) so i will look into shipping the motor :) Hopefully somtime soon common sense will prevail and we will be able to cart complete dismantled bikes again ;D all be it at $15.00 kg :D

Bill, thanks mate, I enjoyed reading that nearly as much as looking at your thumbnail image.
