Where did you get that pic from graeme? Thats one of the sidecar engines I built  in 88. Two YZ 250 joined . This is one of the first one we made  , the next one is 180 degress , thats when things come alive in the performance  department .

G,Day  MX 250 .Judging by the top of those pistons the carbs are a bit out of sinc. Or ya have two different heat range plugs . May be one pot is running hotter because of roost from the front wheel ?

One barrell we ran without powervalve  and the inlet was on a different angle  also the water supply was in serie for the first engine . That was all changed  after  and  thats when the colors changed .

Dunno :-[. I saved it from somewhere outa interest. I knew it was out of a sidecar. Didn't know it was your handy work. Double YZ power musta given the clutch and cogs a hard time.

Cogs didnt suffer , the clutch we beefed up with extra plates , billett basket and haevier springs . the real problem was the kickstarter . we broke about six of them , till we changed to 180 degrees . From then on it was different motorcycle . But it was not so easy with a1 3 spline crank . Today I would try for 270 degrees, but in those days there where no 270 degree ignations .
