thanks mate. i'de love to keep it, but i've got too many and the missus is on my case about selling one of them, so the rm has to go. but i'll just replace it with a cr of some sort, hehe, its never ending hey

The market is FARKED!!!, I would suggest you park it for a while or your gunna have to give it away, I made the silly mistake of letting my last auction go no reserve and I got less than what I paid for the bike BEFORE I restored it...

had a fully restored kx500 1983 very good bike
as clean as the rm
on ebay
had 95 watches and over a thousand looked
starting bid $3999.00
no reserve

no bids still have it
got heaps of emails
all wanting to know where i got plastics stickers etc etc
one guy even emailed and said he has a kx500 and wants to know
how to start it
i said turn on fuel
pull on choke

I thought it was just me that got stuffed around when I put a bike on ebay to sell  . I got asked questions by every time waster, tyre-kicker & fool in Australia, but never sold the bike . I am expecting to go through all that again soon , as I intend to list a Maico 490 on ebay before CD6 . And by the way, the RM465 & the KX500 both look like very nice bikes & should be well worth the money .
