...an ended up in front of Sydney Town Hall with a flat front tyre. Luckily had the gear to fix it and was going again in about 20 mins.

Wow, impressed, i'd have called the AA roadside rescue-- [automobile association over here nz]. Reminds me of [i think it was] Stephen Gall? or someone finishing a desert race with the front tyre off & turned up over the handlebars--finished on the rim. That'd be fun [not] on tarseal.

Luckily that tyre has been on and off a few times so not so tight on the rim. Its just a cheap brand too (Swallow brand, from the 80's) but has DOT on the side so technically road legal. Only had tiny push bike tyre levers and a little pump.
Had a few onlookers, should have turned my helmet upside down nearby and scored a few coins for the show.
Riding into the city is not something I normally do, and doubt I will do it again. The IT behaved surprisingly well (until the flat) but middle city traffic is pretty mad and stressful, dodging all the taxis, buses, pedestrians, scooters etc. I've ticked that off my bucket list.

I reckon I would have put some money in your hat but not for charity, just for recognition of being a dead set thrill seeker ;D good on ya!

I love that bike. Had it since I was 24 (paid $700 for it) and I turn 56 in a couple of weeks.
I've done everything on it, enduros, motocross, dirt track, weekends away, on and off with rego, and am amazed that its still alive. Hasn't been without some issues over the years but being an air cooled two banger makes it all pretty simple and easy to fix. Wonder how many current WR 250f's will still be on the road in 2050. Its scary to think i probably won't be around to find out.

You can trust an enduro rider to have the tools and know how to fix any problem, anywhere!

It's a wonder that none of Sydney's infamous parking police didn't come along and issue you a fine for illegal parking!
Arrogance.....A way of life for the those that having nothing further to learn.

Priceless photos! Not the sort of thing seen in the Sydney CBD very often I'd say.
