My plan had been to use functional race bike, and a (relatively) bling OW27-inspired one. Turns out that the race bike hasn't been used since 2007 & I could use the cash, so it's time to move it all on...

Race bike:
Matching numbers bike.
Very fresh bottom end rebuild, inc rod kit. Healthy top end on +1.50mm OS.
Frame stripped to bare metal and repainted about three meetings ago.
Near new VMX Plastics front guard & front number plate, brand new VMX Plastics rear guard.
Brand new Pirelli rear tyre, near new Dunlop front tyre.
Bars, levers, grips etc all new or very close to it.
Chain and sprockets in good used condition.
YZ125E exhaust pipe.
Some rust between triple clamps.

Project Bike:
Matching numbers.
New clear VMX Plastics 'guards and front number plate.
New genuine RHS sidecover (used LHS side cover included).
Good (not perfect) original seat with excellent original foam.
Some parts already reburbished, some new parts.

Other bits/spares:
DG alloy swingarm.
Aftermarket/handmade aftermarket pipe (cone type - unknown brand).
2x IT175 swingarms.
Shock (maybe two of these).
Pair of excellent condition original handlebars.
IT175 cases with no number.
2x 1W2 IT175 top ends.
2A7 DT175 top end.
2A6 DT125 top end.
Handmade adaptor to join DT barrel to YZ carb.
Original YZ125D & E exhaust pipes in varying conditions.
At least one pair of forks.
At least one pair of triple clamps.
YZ gear set.
At least one DT gearset.
YZ fuel tank (painted but looks quite good underneath).
Ignition bits (tested and working!).
Any other related stuff I find.
Black rims in photos not included, but I can supply others if needed.

Looking for $2200 $2000 for the lot.
$1500 for just the race bike.
Will consider seperating the parts/project bike, will be happy to swap bits around if that happens.

Located in Yass, southern NSW.

Photos of project bike and parts - because Photobucket is complete rubbish and is refusing to upload the rest of them, this is not all of them. It's a start, I guess...:

Frame is above average.

The LHS sidecover isn't as good as it looks, but will clean up well.

Inside RHS sidecover

Straight original bars:

Pipe. It came from on an IT175, but the stinger diameter is more 125.

Bits.

Rear sprocket is new, genuine. Fronts are used. 1x 11T, 2x12T, 2x13T. One of the 12Ts is pretty crap, the others are OK.

More bits.

Never stamped IT engine cases.

YZ gearbox bits.

There's more, which I'll post once photobucket starts helping...

The Forks laying horizontal & matching triple clamps are 38mm forks from a YZ125K - I had these because I figured they'd be useful for the OW27 replica look. Obviously not pre-78 legal, though. New seals and new boots.

Swingarm:

Rear wheel:

I reckon that catalogue would not be proof of eligibility , using the " Service and parts Manual publication dates are not proof of eligibility" ref: 2013 MoMS 18.2.1.2

 ;D

The DG sale brochure is neither a Service Manual nor a Parts Manual.

Fair call It is a sales brochure

A parts manual lists all OEM parts fitted to a bike. However if a part is listed as an option ( not originally included ) surely it would have to be classed as a advertised saleable item and enter sales brochure status.

Hi Nathan
Is the "Aftermarket/handmade aftermarket pipe (cone type - unknown brand)." the one we picked on the way home after one of the QLD CD's. The same one that been hanging in your shed since then. If it is then I'll take that at a price to be negotiated.
Also the YZ gear set.

I'll call you tomorrow.

Sales brochures are not excluded from being used as proof of eligibility.

I'd accept that DG catalogue as eligibility proof. Any dated brochure, advertisement or magazine article that clearly shows the part or bike in question should be accepted by the eligibility scrutineer. It took me ages to find pre 70 eligibility proof for my Cheney but I now have a magazine article that stays with the bike. Anyone with borderline bikes or parts should be doing their homework and digging up anything they can find to verify the date of manufacture of their bike or component.  All it takes is one pedantic finger pointer with the protest fee in his pocket and your weekend could easily be ruined, as a number of us have found out the hard way. If you've got proof you'll have a far less stressful time.

First up a good deal there for someone Nathan!! May it quickly go to another good owner.
Please let me move to this old eligibility chestnut.

Yep Ted the pamphlet above would be %100 legal proof. Below is one of the articles in a folder I did carry to meetings for proof of eligibility *
Of course most people already knew CB750 K series came out in 68/69 and using the stock frame cradle helped. Then again I was the sidecar scrutineer at a lot of meetings we used to attend.... ::)
Note the date on the Two Wheels page, find a complete second copy if possible of any magazine or whatever if you can for total security.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Had to take the photos again so photobucket would co-operate - they're not real good photos, but are should give you a good idea.

Nathan would you sell those translucent mudguards separate? They're just what we're looking for our ( very long term) Trackmaster Noguchi YZ125 Evo project.

Not yet - they aren't crucial to the project bike, but they are a decent sized chunk of it.
