Not another RM 125 B
« on: July 04, 2013, 03:44:30 PM »

I have been working on a RM 125 B for a while now. Still have a bit to do ,but I am happy with the way it is coming on. I have been able to get some of the hard to get parts from the good people on the ozvmx forum. Thanks to bear vmx, John Orchard, D project Can am 370 and Ted, thanks guys. Hopefully this will be all ready to go for the nationals in November.

Cheers I have enjoyed this project. But like most people here work sometimes slows the project up a bit.
Once this bike is finished I have A jumble of bits and pieces that hopefully will turn into a 1976 rm 370.

Lovely bike Nipper.  I hope you don't mind me dragging up an old thread.  I notice you have buffed up the wheels and fork legs, just wondering if you have left them raw polished aluminium, or whether you have had them clear coated or something.  I've done similar on my RM125T, and polished up fork legs / swing arm / triple clamps.  I'm just wondering what is the best way to maintain the gloss - or whether I just keep bringing out the autosol ever time I wash the thing...

Cheers,

Geoff

I coat my fork legs with VHT clear brake caliper paint.  It's quite durable.
