Davey, that is where you let yourself down. That is a tuned section of hose taken from a solid 30 mtr billet of Pope hose that has been fire, water and smoke tested in some of the wildest smoking aparatuses imaginable.
It's here for the long run ;)

Can't answer that Paul, I haven't ridden it yet. Waiting for new forks and Ohlins shocks to be made.

Geoff Morris assures me he has done some R & D with this pipe and reckons he has got it spot on. It not only looks a treat but fits perfectly without any mods. I didn't give him much lead time to build it but he gave me a delivery date and sure as shit it turned up on that day. I would definitely use his workmanship again.

Thanks Ted

Im sold.
I'm going to order one  :)

If you wanna check out his workmanship before you order I live not far from you. Give me a call on 0407004473 if you want to have a look

Hey Ted
Re that hose.

Maybe I can turn up a collar for you? Not sure what it should be standard but I can turn up a brass or steel one if it helps.

Just let me know

No kinking chink shit here. POPE... Australian company based in SA for the last 88 years and is a subsidiary of TORO...American  lawn equipment company since 1914  ;D

However I will take up Paul's offer of a metal collar for aesthetics.

The piece of hose is cut to just the right length to hold the 'O' ring down into a step in the casing, I purchased a brand-new genuine oil seal for the actuating shaft but it wouldn't fit.  Don't fit an alloy spacer, hunt around some bearing shops for a seal with the correct dimensions; got me beat why a genuine seal didn't fit?
