I was going. Too much on and can't get time off work.
You don't have to be, but it helps.

Well after spending a weekend helping mark the tracks if you have any chance of bringing a sidecar to CD9 do it because the track is as good as any in Europe and I know this is a big call but would have to be better than Conondale! See you there.

Had a swing (well I called it that) on Steve's CR500 outfit at CD9. Holly mother of Jezzuz  :o ended up in the black berries twice, a creek once, fell off the back once and ended up just clinging on for grim life twice. After a short time my upper body felt like someone elses ::).

When I asked Steve how I went he just did this  ::) and sort of shuffled his feet ;D

I would like another try sometime but was totally stuffed after what seemed like 15min. I think I may have been holding on a little tightly ::). He asked me if I wanted to try driving but I thought the person with the handlebars should have some idea what they are doing ;D

Previously after 12 laps of the Pre78 track on my Monty VR250 I pulled in because I thought I was tired now I know that is just not true ;). Thankfully no one got a photo as that would have been  :-[

At least that is off my bucket list ;D

good effort monty nut, i also considered this as i used to swing in 82 -84 rode one for a season in 87'. the track was not the easiest with all those off cambers and i realised it was not for me. on another circuit it would have been easier for you.

Cd was a blast on the sidecar and the bikes the off cambers where not a problem Greg you where fine its not an easy thing to do straight up. Happy to bring it up to the Cawindra cup if you fancy another go on something a bit flatter

I'd take you up on the Canowindra offer except the track is not licenced for sidecars. It would be good to have some sidecars in NSW VMX but not sure if the numbers are there and track licences are a problem.

You have to start somewhere montynut, 4 years ago QLD only had 2 sidecars and they did demo rides at VMX events then 3 then 4 now if everyone turns up we now have a field of l think about 12, which is soon to become 15 or more, and if NSW had a few tracks licensed I'm sure some of us would venture down that way, it's closer than VIC or SA.....

Do you think this track would be suitable for outfits?

Conrats on your first ride(swing) Monty.
That is one serious circuit and is def the goods for outfits, both modern and classic.
When can we get to try it.
Next years sidecar spectacular would be the ideal event.
We could even run night races under the power cables and use fluros as light sabres. :D :D :D
