looking for a seat base for a 1974 tm 250 suzuki. I know that there is a plastic replica base available for the RM suzuki ,is there one available for the TM? thanks in advance. Nipper.

Try Les at VMX unlimited. He has a plastic seat base that will do the job. You will have to make or supply the brackets to mount the seat.

I have just looked on Alpha sport and they are still available. Part number 23271 - 41300, now I know that I will contact the local suzuki dealer.

Thanks for the info guys.This bike is being built primarily for my daughter to ride so the 55 rear sprocket will probably do as that is the largest I can find at the moment. and If I am going to ride it can I get one of those 86 tooth sprockets from you Asasin ?

I thinking of using 13 - 55 gearing for my RM 125 B is this around the mark for motocross ? And if the bike was to be used for dirt track what would be an acceptable gearing ratio ? Cheers Nipper

Just recently bought a set of TM 125 tank decals , their service ,product and delivery was great. No problems at all , would use them again.

having a great fathers day just got back from having a ride with the youngest daughter and her boyfriend. She rode her RMZ 250f suzuki and i rode the 1973 tm suzuki,we had a ball.

I have nothing but praise for my local suzuki dealer here in Adelaide. The owner is a suzuki rider from way back and is interested in my projects and how they are coming on. I have often got parts for my suzukis that I thought would well and truly be deleted from production years ago. The guys behind the counter are happy to go through the micro fische scouring for the parts I am looking for, and to top it off the prices are very good.

Yes thanks  Bill I have been fortunate enough to get a basket from here on the forum, D project was the man I can thank for that. I did get a basket locally here in south australia but when i went to fit the basket it had 63 teeth instead of 62 so it was a no go.

Thanks freaky for the offer. But I reckon TM Bill is right it looks too big for the 125. I like the price too so if you got a basket for the 125 i will happily pay 20 bucks for it. Cheers.
