Hi,
I would say the F6 could be made to go pretty hard, rotary disc induction lends it self to some tweaking,
If your not interested I may be.
Cheers
Noel

Without looking inside it, I couldn't say exactly. Really down to port/pipe/ignition/carb replacment and changing the disc timing. If you have a suitable ignition and carb that's 2 things you don't need. ;D A lot depends on the gearbox to.One thing to check is if it has a complete cast iron cylinder some models have and some have an iron liner in an aluminium cylinder, the ali barrels are the ones to have.Just send me a pm if you or Noel don't want it.

an F6 was my 1st bike , loved it to bits , eventually blew it up ( dropped the skirt off the piston ) . I was told when I bought it that it had been taken out to 175cc - it went very well

Jimson, if it's a Superlube model then yes and if it's the Injectolube model no. Pretty sure the injectolube is on the larger models and you have the Superlube but get a more definate answer from someone in the know ;)

Thanks Doc I'll keep the oil lube on the bike.I was looking through my stash of bits today and saw a pair of KL forks and triple tree and maybe a 21 front wheel if this all comes together I might put some rego on the kwaka and use it for a practise bike in the scrub  ;D .jimson

Jimson,

If the KL forks don't fit it'd be worth considering late 70's 32/33mm 185 Suz forks, triples & front wheel. IIRC the triples have 25mm stem like F6.

They could do w a longer swingarm & wheelbase too. Again, 185 Suz should fit straight in. Or MT125 Honda at a pinch. I'm in the process of doing it to my bros F7. Some 185 Suz wheels had alloy rims too.

F7 175 top-end should fit straight on too if you want more beans

beware though as the stock piston(and the TKJR) will go BANG (the pin boss will disintergrate) when you go over 26 RWHP for any length of time.

Loz,

What RWHP can you pull out of the 125 F6 engine/barrell?

do the little kawa's have a bottom end issue also whereby the rods tend to fly apart at high rpm? I swear someone mentioned this once when I was planning on doing some mods to my KH125 :-\
