Hey Dave , what have you found this time ? I am watching with interest since converting back to 125s and love riding little Italian screemers . I rode a 1981 125 Cagiva wmx 125 ..super quick light and just plain good !
Anyone got a Gilera rotary valved 125 mx from 1980-1983 over here now there is a real weapon ????

Dave ,
yes the whole thing ...its in pretty good order ...but its made in Japan and not allowed in my Euro shed  :o  Whats the Cagiva you have bought ? I fancy a go at the viper pre 85 125 class an 84 ktm or any good euro 125 from that era would do me ?

ill consider getting originals later on!! for now i'm just keen for a ride!!

Dave , I have tracked an 81 Fantic down ;) ...just have to wear the owner down ...although Jeff David tells me -they were not that good  :(...SWM Cagiva Gilera were the winning italian 125s of the 1980s
I am searching the world for one of those little Gileras ....you never know , there was a mint 82 enduro for sale in Italy but it would have cost about 12k to buy and land here ......need to find a roughie and send it back bit by bit ....In the meantime if you get sick of the Cagiva give me a call  :D

Dave and Nathan .....bloody hell its in very good nick ! looks like it has not been abused as a bush hack the pipe is mint ...similar nick to the Honda I have but assembled .   I reckon that would be a real weapon in the pre 85 125 ...only an 84 KTM or Gilera  would be as quick nothing had legs like the Cagiva acording to a chap on the uk forum ....Jap eater ...looks a little Honda like . They were sold as TGMs in almost the same spec in Italy if what I am told is right ?   Find me one ...want to go 500 hunting on one of those buzzbombs  :D cheers Tim
