Some great looking 4 strokes there.. Did the KSI Honda get ridden?
That '360' Mugen of Noyce's has a CR480 engine in it!

The KSI was raced a couple of times on the first day only and did quite well. It has started burning a bit of oil. Not surprising as it still has the original 470 piston and rings from 78. I think it could end up as a 450 unless Rod can find a piston to fit. The JBR had a little problem with the pegs. I think the bracket could be a little stronger! Apart from that Rod again did a brilliant job building this one (not the pegs). He still thinks the KSI has a stronger engine and handles better. I agree, but then again I would  ;D

I have hundreds of race pictures to download and will post some of the better ones when I have been through them. A brilliant and fast days racing.

Who were the fast guys in the races?

I will try and post a full set of results with more pictures. Neil Prince was flying on his 500 rm in the vets cup race and for me, gave the best performance of the weekend. As was Peter Mathia and Terry House in the team races. Graham noyce was mid field on his go faster Honda. Everyone seemed to trying that little bit harder on the day. When you think about the cash these guys have invested in the bikes they race it was definately one of those "go for it" weekends.  Dave Thorpe and Geboers wern't hanging about on their demo laps. Thorpy still looks really impresive and would have taken some beating had he raced. The thing that stands out over other races that I have been to this year was that everyone was giving it 110% all 420 of them.

The JBR was built, I think by Joe Maxwell Engineering. I will find out more details from Rod and let you know.
