Anyone care to share their most treasured bike-related photo?
It might be with your Dad, a hero or just a cool shot from years ago.

My Mum and Dad brought this photo (among lots of others) when they moved to OZ a few years ago.
It's me at about 14 years old with my first motorbike. I worked school holdiays, after school and dug drains for my Dad on weekends (he was a plumber) to pay for it. This picture makes me think of what I did to get that bike and what it meant to me.



It's long gone now and it's still one bike I'd like to get hold of again. TM Bill, if you read this do you still want to sell yours?

Here's mine. 'Tis my Dad whom passed away near 4 years ago now. The man responsible for my very existance and my love of all bikes, he rides with me always

This would rate as one of my favourite.  It was in a Honda calender in 85/86, it has been on the wall of four different sheds and i still look at it.  
I remember we were talking about how much faster JL was and Dave Armstrong said, It's easy he brakes later and gets on the gas sooner.  
I reckon this photo show's one half of that perfectly.

This has to be a fav. of mine. Dad with the new bike when i made the step up to juniors.
He followed my backside around back then and has started doing it again since i got into vmx. Im so lucky!

I can't decide which is my most treasured.
This one is one of them.
Trail riding at Kobble Creek North of Brisbane in 1979 we were having a break and found a dead snake which is what I am holding in my right hand. The bloke with the zif is John Zordan. Its funny cos I am wearing the Kawasaki shirt and he was the Kawasaki nut - although I think he might have still been riding a hotted-up XL185 at the time (before the KLX250 came out).

I've got only one shot of me and my Dad on a bike. And I can't find it.  :'(

But I've got a couple anyway.
The only time I actually lucked out and got a decent result. Getting to share the podium with Casey McCoy (US) and Andy Caldecott.


And, I don't have many heroes, but this guy is one of them. Rick Sieman.

Yes you are! I'm not going to pretend that I'm not seriously jealous. I got a few years travelling around to races with my Dad. And some fun stories too.
No doubt, you appreciate how lucky you are to still have him in your life.

If it's ok i have a few shots all of my Dad that i would like to share that are my treasured shots
First Dad on His RL250 at a quarry near Ballarat.He has just reached the top of a HUGH cliff face.

This shot is my Dad at a Drag meeting in the Early 70's at Ballarat Airport on his Honda cb750 with a trick paint job he did.

This shot is My Dad on my very first bike a Benneli 60cc ,showing me how to ride up a mine shaft.

Last Shot is my Dad showing me how to pop a wheelie on his Hodaka Wombat .

Yea my Dad is my hero and he still rides a zzr1200 today.Love him heaps.

Sure was.. I JUST COULDN'T RESIST PUTTING IT UP AS I AM RARELY IN FRONT OF HIM LONG ENOUGH FOR A CAMERA SHUTTER TO GO OFF.Unless we are in the bush.. then we are close. We have some grouse photos floating around the family dwellings, its great to look back on, even for us being young, mx has been a massive part of our whole familys life.
