I was getting on here to say the same thing. If coming from the south be aware that more than half the Gateway bridge will be closed form early hours of the morning, if coming from the west, traffic is being diverted along Sangate Rd to the East-West bypass.
Either way extra time should be allowed to get to the track on time. Check out www.bridgetobrisbane.com.au for details of the road closures.

dont know what i am riding
only have pre78 bikes going
dont want to bring down 125 /250/open pre 78
and then they are short on numbers like last year and
combine pre78 then i would have 3 bikes
for 1 class :'( :'(
might fix monty 250 before the meet maybe ;)

Great news about the TV coverage, that should bring out all the photo hoars like myself or should I say TV hoars. Apparently thats what Graeme Mc calls me. QCTV formerly bris 31 will film the whole event and run a number of shows later in the year.

who~ever heard of such a thing ;D
well done to the BMCC members that helped get this one going...
even with out the TV coverage, Brisbanes little Nudgee track is el~primo pre~75 country.
all within a hop skip and a jump from the CBD :)
so will you be sporting the red bi-plane logo on that Husky Barron?
just for the camera's of course... :)

The Gateway Bridge has BULLSHIT TRAFFIC a lot of the time. Seriously, it can be f*ckin' nightmare!
The road closures and detours will be well posted but be aware everyone will be using them.
The usual beach goers heading north and south to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts will be out in force as well as a squillion joggers. ::)   

Hey, how about some big roadside signage advertising the Qld Titles on the day?
Might get a few old dirt dinosaurs diverting to the track for a look. ;) :D

Bring back MOTOR MOUTH I say, we saw him at Braodford and he was in fine form. Nobody seems to know as much as Bob when it comes to bikes and he can make 2 grasshoppers pissing sound like a race-so find out where he is and get him up here!!

we don't have juniors on our track on race day. :)
i'd like to see the sidecars go out first too actually.
usually the pre~75 125,s kick off the day on a freshly watered track.
ask Brad about the first turn in the wet on a 125 :D

Steven took the pic as it's a great idea and easily made up for our club-no more wet chalk and kids inquisitive finger marks on the pit board.
Just had a look at your sup reg and love all the pre75 class's ... :P After Proserpine I didn't know if you where running the modern bikes as well --it sure is all go in Qld   :)
Will you have pre 85 or is that how you class the evo, visa-versa   8) ?
