Hi TwoTees,
That is right.
What I require is the YZ465 brake backing plate because the YZ125H has the slot at 45 degs.

Thanks mate
Ji

Hi Paul,
Thanks mate I think I see one there but it is $50us to get it here.

The 95 cent one is looking pretty good at this stage or from that US Web site TwoTees put me on to.

Gidday Ji,

Mate, I think someone is pulling your chain in relation to the kick starter nut.  I bought one just recently for the 465 and the 250.  Both were less than $10 each.  I'm sure another part number would do the job.  The One for the 250 is zinc plated, the 465 is blued (?)  If you want I can get the part numbers for you.
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

"My inability to use emoticins in the right context is really getting me down :)
The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

I have in my possession an IT brake plate with cams, arms and rods but no shoes. It is the same as 465 but the arms are steel. There may be other differences that I am unaware of.
It actually belongs to mate. Let me know if this interests you and I will ask him if he wants to part with it.

Hi YZ250H,
That would be great.
The nut off my 490 was nickled but blued would be fine.
The Yami dealer was Team Moto Yamaha here in Brisbane.
I purchase a lot of old parts from them and they are normally very good. They checked their computer to see which other dealers in Australia had the nut and none came back.

Look forward to hearing from you

Ji
Caught up with my mate today and he's happy to let it go provided it doesn't leave him short. He has a 465 in boxes under his house so he wants to double check that he has one for that project.
Bear with him for a day or two until he checks.
Cheers, Chris
