For NSW. Motorcycles first registered on and after 1st October 1976 are required to be fitted with compliance
plates.
Link to RTA pdf on compliance plates.

In SA we can have any tyres as long as they dont say 'not for highway use' So there is still plenty of full knobbys that are perfectly legal like Dunlop 606, Kenda Trackmaster, IRC TR8, Michellin AC10 plus plenty more. Your not just limited to trials unis, kenda claw pattern or Bridgestone Trail Wings etc

I have a Dunlop 606 on my rego bike, no good for the road and not much better on most dirt conditions, but its legal anyway.
Cheers M.

Dunlop K180's are dot marked and for a flat tracker it's hard not to consider them. There are some cool offerings from firestone as well
