My brother Dennis raced a cotton cobra 250, Triumph 650 twin, Montesa la cross 250 1966, in 1967 Kawasaki F 21M , Montesa 360 gp 1970 to 1972, that was the end, at monza park, 15 bike crash, broke the ball off his foot in the gully before the climb. Never raced after that. Tried to get back into vintage. I still have him racing on CD  and others, racing in the 60`s and 70`s.

Albrid,

Thats no good about your Brother,I have had my share of injuries I have enjoyed your photo's and could look at them all day,I am actually Gary my younger brother is David,I raced in Victoria from about 71 on mini's until 76 we moved to Qld, I moved back to Victoria in  80 and raced there until the end of 83,then stopped racing what I call seriouslymoved back to Qld, I was doing races up here and got hurt badly in 87,that retirement lasted a short time then I had a bit of fun racing Veterans on modern bikes and did a few Vintage races for a few years,The Thumper Nats for a few years,I stopped everything in 2003 until CD6 this month did a few laps on a YZ490 and as we talk I am contemplating racing at the 2009 Nationals, on another 84 YZ490 bikes there like magnets they drag you back, even after they have hurt you,

Thanks

Albrid,

I would love to see them if your referring to the photo's

KB,

Thats cool I keep in contact with Grant Cramer and I see Andrew Bailey now and then bumped into Ronny Dinsdale at the Broadford GP that was a while ago now,I used to catch up with Neil Crompton when he was driving, and would come up to Indy,I even caught up with Dennis Dickman a few years ago he was one of the Skiers in the Water Ski show at Sea World, that event below was my first year in Sub Juniors,on the Husky slow as all hell, but a good bike to get the hang of big bikes on I ended up with Gary Floods MK7 125 Bultaco later that year, there a lot of familiar names there,
