Emergency contact while at CD6?
« on: May 29, 2009, 06:30:30 pm »
Don't know if this has been covered before, apologies if it has. (Alison will tell me pretty quick  ;D)

I've been told that mobile coverage is almost non-existent at Conondale, and I was just wondering if there's a contact number or some arrangement inplace so that if there's an emergency on the home front while we're all away having fun our significant others can get in touch?

I am talking about emergency only BTW, not "where did you put the remote"....

Mainy, I have NextG.
You have my number.

I'm sure you can figure out what to do before you leave home.

thanks guys, at least some of you can read ::) ;D

My question was to do with how those on the homefront contact those at the event in the case of emergency at home, not the other way around.

You're right though Alison, there's no way I'll be ringing anyone from the event. Apart from maybe a couple of mates who might need to be reminded they couldn't make it ;D

Vandy and DJ, there's no way you could handle the power of the ute. The bike is only in there to try and weight the rear end down for traction.

Isn't that bike the wrong colour mainline  ::)
I've heard they are good for ballast  ;)
I have next G as well.  Let me know and I can PM my number.  I intend having a few beers with you and Mick, so I won't be far away.  Have 12V phone charger as well.
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

wash your mouth out, I've had the PM175 independently tested by the Ponds Institute and it will pull the skin off custard!

I'll take you and Nathan up on the offer. I don't trust mobile coverage these days with the improved technology . It seems to depend a lot on which way the wind is blowing.

We had Samsung/NextG phones, which we were suckered into replacing Anna's CDMA with. They were crap, and WAAAAYYY below what was promised.

Cracked the irits and got Nokia N95s (wanker phones), but at least they live up to the NextG promise....
