Hmm, s'pose I was a bit harsh with my description DR, but why give it a look that is totally off the mark. No one, well not in Australia anyway would be interested in buying it the way it is. Am I wrong?
As vmx247 said, everyone to his own, but it's not for me.

Sometimes that's the sad part about it  :(
1:If you don't ask, you won't know.  :P
2:Buying a bike and then only to be told that it can't race in that era  >:(
3:New vmxer's can be put off for life.  :o
4:method in me madness-madness in me method    ;)   :P

I didn't mean to sound overly critical of your comments pmc, while I liked the 125 duster paintjob I don't really like what he's done to the 250. It would turn off a lot of people and the chrome or polishing is a little over the top but you have to admire the effort and the quality of the work. A few nos covers and some nice new paint and you'd have a bling 250 albeit a little expensive to start with. $3600au it sold for and the buyer, if you look at his recent purchases, seems a bit of a Suzuki enthusiast ;)

been watching that ebay TS250 Alison but I feel it is already at top $ for what it is. No doubt it will probably go up some more I'd say. Not a bad thing at all but I feel anything over $800 is too much in todays market ;) Seems there are cheapy TS250's and there are expensive bling TS250's but rarely do you see much inbetween. The bike in this auction is such a bike and hence it will attract more bids I'd reckon.

Below is a pic of a TS250 that I'll have in my hot little mitts in about a week or so, over $500 less than the bike on ebay and it's good runner ;) another time waster ;D

Another one -looks heavy to me,or maybe its too much black. :-\
Like the freight to Perth ,you would think we live on the moon  ;)   ;D and not knowing who the freight company is,strange.  :o
Bit of air in the front tyre may get a bit of extra money  ;D
What do you think   ???

not a bad thing either Alison but yes, very heavy metal. Mind you replace the steel lowered clunker type forks and whack on a set of alloy rims and you'd shed a kilo or 2 (a kilo or 2 off the bike that is unless it's a really hot day then you may shed more :P) I think the front tyre looks weird as it's one of those low profile chinese cheapies from a pitbike. I bought one for the front of the SL100 and I can't give it away quick enough now :D ya never know unless you try but I should have known better..$20 doesn't buy much of a tyre :D

bit of a story behind that Tassie seller apparently. He's fishing and one never knows their luck ;) rumour has it both the TM250 and the MX may end up in a bike museum if passed in.

a little lateral thinking helps ppls and, not being overly anal about era or legality for vmx helps as well ;)

the above item is an absolute bargain...  ;)

I am pretty stunned at the price paid for this tank....

the lift stands are okay for bikes without downpipes and if you have room but sadly a lot of mine don't fit the catagory VMX. I can honestly say bike stands do absolutely nothing for me ::) A milk crate can be cut to suit the pipes and it can double as a seat and a storage device on the way too and from, much more functional than a dedicated bike stand of any type and best of all..free! ;)
