Hi Brent/DJ. I grew up in Tokoroa, surounded by pine forests and dairy farms. Raced YZ'ds back then. I now reside in Central Quensland (Emerald) Thought I'd try to make a KLX go a bit faster and be reliable bacause there light, handle well and have a bit more suspension travel than the pre '75 bikes and my knees now appreciate that.

The one in the picture is bored out to a 290cc and the owner (Pete) punts it round the track extremely well. So your used to the pumice loam of the central North Island Derail?

Yeah DJ, I miss the loamy soil. Central Queensland is largely flat and the its the only place I've ridden where you can tear the knobs off the side of your new MX tyre in a good practice session.
Sweet looking bike. Mine is similar, over bored to around 300cc and a mega cycle cam. On a miniture TT track its not disgraced against modern 4 s 250's. At least for around 3 laps and then the rider expires.
