Word has come through that the legendary Bert Flood passed away today. His legacy is that he has left a little bit of DNA in every aspect of Aussie motorcycle sport, his contribution beyond equal. Thanks for everything Bert.

Sad news. I didn't know the bloke personally, but I think we all know of what he achieved in life.
RIP

God bless you Bert, you branded the name bultaco through-out Australia and New Zealand, and thank you and your family for being part of our lives whether on the track or off, Rest in piece Bert with your arch rivel and friend Lyall O`brien (Montesa ), like all you legends you will be sadly missed, But the legacy lives on.

Bugger. I spotted Bert sitting in his wheelchair in the sun outside the garage at the Island Classic, and the poor old bloke didn't look too flash. But at least in his last weekend he got to see Ginger Molloy go out and stick it up 'em all weekend, on an AJR and a Flood Bultaco, fettled by Bert's son Gary. Hats off, Bert, from race fans everywhere.

Rest in peace  Bert Flood . You can ride like the wind forever now.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
