Hmmmmmmm

Red, white or black :P.

I don't think there is much between them; personal preference ;). The Monty is a pretty, nicely proportioned MX'er.

It'll be great to see your's when it's fully detailed Holy 8) ;D.

Hi Russ, sorry , just trying to help, l don`t have the right words to say at times, but l have a good heart and very genuine and passionate about this era willing to help where l can.just like to point out what is genuine and parts that arn`t . l have owned 4 vr in my time, race them back in 1974, started racing  in 1972 on the 125 gray tank, my brother raced the gray tank sidepipe and he still ownes it, my other brother raced the 360 1969 model. so l have been around these bikes for a long time, Gary o`brien ( Lyall O`brien was the importer for montese here in Geelong. VR are truely a very good bike, the exhaust nut on the barrel must be tight when the engine is cold then start the engine, when it is hot stop the engine and then tighten it up again. They bcan work loose, then if that happen it can strip the thread. But at the end of the day as long as your happy with your bike and your out their having fun with this sport every thing else doesn`t matter.
regards
david

i am not too worried about seat and guard colour
i like it that way 8)
and the pipe is a very good handmade race pipe
the screw thread in barrell is tight and lockwired
it has a slip on exhaust pipe held on with springs
works perfect, the core of the bike is genuine
and remember this is a race bike not a glamour
i used to race montys for lyall back in late 70s and early eightys
i have owned about eight and raced them all
they are a good bike with a great engine so i know my way around them a bit :o
i will be racing my montesas at the nationals
and also riding at cd6
i like too see them out there on the track
instead of sitting around in sheds
plus i ride to win thats another reason i want to ride my vr ;)

thanks K i will let you know ;D
