Hi Collectors of old stuff,
Does any body have a Bultaco 1969 250 engine for sale.
Frontera, pursang or Matador.
Thanks in advance

I might be able to help but can you clarify are you wanting a 1969 Bultaco motor, a pre-70 250 Butaco motor, or a round barrel 250 Bultaco motor?

Hi,
I am after a 1969 Bultaco 250cc Pursang motor.
It is not for me but a very good friend that has all of his bultacos that he purchased new.
Thanks Ji

Thanks Ji Gantor and Ron. Great photos. Is that Ron on the Sherpa T?
I'll post some photos later on today of what I found in the shed for Ron.

Hi Feetupfun,
Yes that is Ron on the Sherpa T.
That is his slim body.
Ron Rang and is bringing over some more of his images so I can send them to you.
So you remember Ron from his Trials days, that's great.

Heres a bottom end I found that is probably what Ron wants. Its from a M84 Alpina which is a round barrel 250 five speed motor from approx 1972/73.
It is from a job lot of Bultaco parts from a deceased friend's bike collection so I don't have the history of the motor.
The crankshaft and big end turn freely but the little end was obviously not coated in oil when the motor was pulled apart and has fine rust on the bearing surface.
The gearshifting works well
The gearbox turns freely
There is no drain plug in the clutch case
There is a plastic-metal bog repair in the magneto case
I haven't pulled off either engine cover.
