I have looked at those husky tanks but im pretty damn sure the underside tunnel shape is no good for suzukis.

i suppose he will have to find one and give it a try   if it alloy then im sure some one can modify it to suit  ,if he doesnt want to spend to much$$$$$$$$$$

Paul it will cost at least $1000 for someone in Aus to make one of those tanks. Modified husky one might be the cheapest way.

i have had one of those husky tanks but in plastic for the early 80's 250/430 and the tunnel is very narrow and i think you have to re-locate the coil on the suzuki. the tunnel area near the seat is also not big enough to clear the 2 rails that the seat sits on, but since its alloy it could be all changed underneath i guess.

Bernie Willet makes tanks, he some photos in Old Bike magazine of a tank he built. I had him make a inner guard for my 67 husky he did a good job. [email protected]

Lot of guys over here and in belgium modify the gagiva tank from the early 80s to fit looks very similer to factory suzuki tank.  ;)

who is there person making the replica RN 83 tank shown in this post for 750 euro? do they have a website?

also can any one provide a photo of the underside of a Husky alloy tank from early 80's? i wan to see how much work is needed modify the tunnel. thanks. ........hmmm yeah just seen one on ebay. the tunnel is really small. those cagiva ones are a lot better
