E74 i reckon you should park the missus for a couple of days and take the new Berg for a run and tell us what it's like with the new engine setup...

Too damned hot!!!!,
I'm with Darren. I went for a 10K pushy ride at 6am this morning and by the time I'd finished I was as dehydrated as an old piece of leather and never more grateful for my Camelback. There's a time for riding and a time for the pool/beach.
I'm going to put in a couple of hours on my VMX assignments and then I'm off to the Mahon Pool at Maroubra Beach for my ocean fix. Motorbikes? We're taking the bikes to the farm on the Australia Day weekend but I reckon I'll spend more time floating around on the dam on my airbed. I'd like to sort the Maico trials bike if it's cool enough though.

It does look like you and the kids had fun though Hilly.

Yeah we had a ball the weather has been a bit cooler down here only a couple of hot days , Monday was that hot in the Arvo that we all hopped in the Toyota and took turns doin driver training while listening to the cricket with the aircon turned right up thats always interesting with drivers ranging from 16 to 10 and there is not many oppurtunitys for kids to get behind the wheel before they are on the roads.

I've been out twice.
Once for a couple of hours at a mate's property on the moderns to get the missus back on a bike and to prove that my leg is good (Husky ran like pooh, TM still a great bike, leg good).

The other time was New Year's Day at another mate's property, after getting shit faced the night before... Excellent way to work off a hang-over...
Took the YZ125C out for its official owner to ride, and despite having boots and helmet with him, he decined to go for even the most gentle of rides.
It and the DT175 racer both went great, the IT went like pooh.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Being a dealer for Husaberg, I have both 450 & 570 and have done a fair bit on both. Wow! Everything you've read is true, but until you ride it you don't seem to understand. The 450 feels super light, almost 2 stroke light and the 570 feels like a 250 four stroke with heaps of power. The 450 is awesome, the 570 is F&%ing AWESOME! Fair enough I'm biased and have a vested interest, but anyone who is looking for a new bike should at least ride one before they spend their money. If you are in Victoria and want to ride either or both, look me up. I'll take you on a one of four loops, 20klm, 55klm, 75klm or 98klm.
I haven't had a chance to ride my VMX bikes though. The CR390 has gone to a good home and will see the track with a new rider this year. My '74 Mag 250 and '75 GP360 are undergoing race prep for the coming season, as are our '81 KTM 420 (my mechanics sonsored ride) and '73 Husky CR250 (mates sponsored ride). Looking forward to a good fun season.
Cheers,
K

Thanks for asking Mark. She's started a weekly regimen of treatment (again),which will last 6 months to try to get control, after which they will assess the next move. Hopefully we can manage it for a good length of time, (years). She seems reasonably OK in her mind, and is doing things she probably wouldn't have otherwise. Last week she went and got some tattoo's and had her hair bleached, she looks a lot the rocksar Pink at the moment. Whatever she needs to do to ease her mind is fine by me.
Cheers,
K

I had a good ride on a Husaberg a few weeks ago, it's probably one of the best dirt bike i have ever ridden and if it's reliable it's the best :o
