Stuff: DS80, Cota, YZF250, + some levers.
« on: December 20, 2008, 07:18:54 pm »
1. Side cover from a DS80. Good condition, no splits or cracks, no noticable fading despite what it might look like in the photo. $5.

2. Forks from early Montesa Cota (have been told 1970 model!??!). 35mm upper tubes, straight. Some rust between triples, and a tiny bit below the triples - but I think its above the seal line. The don't move up and down, but aren't seized solid (still have a small amount of movement. $Make me an offer.

3. Assorted brake levers. From the left: Plastic Yamaha, plastic Honda, PE175???, unknown disc (new), late Yamaha, late Yamaha (note the two different ways of pushing on the master cylinder).
Assorted clutch levers. Plastic unknown, DS80 (new, and I have two of these).
$1 each, or $5 the lot. Sold, pending payment.

4. New gaskets, pretty sure they're from an 07 YZ250F. $5 for the lot.

5. Standard pipe from an 05~ish KX125. Very little use, still has original paint, not burned off. $20.
Can kinda be seen in the follwoing pic.

6. Top section of the pipe from an MX250B/YZ250C (pretty sure its from a YZ-C). Rough as guts. $0 (zero). Sold, pending payment. Its the one of the bottom / left of the three hanging up. The middle one is YZ250K but is not for sale.

7. IT250K/L pipe. rough in the header, nice otherwise. Still useable regardless. $10. SOLD, pending payment.

8. DT400 monoshock pipe (I think). Good nick. $10.

9. Unknown pipe. Looks like IT/YZ250D, but the header is too small for a 250. $5.

(Exceptionally bad photo because it was so dark I couldn't see where I was pointing the camera until after I took the photo).

More to come.

Any chance a pic of 250C pipe section - swap for acerbis front and rear guards to suit G/H in similar condition??.
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

Added stuff, inc pics.

Tony, you mean those guards I was going to ring you about months ago?  :-[
Sounds like a fair deal.

Thanks LWC.

Hello Nathan,
Is the KX125 pipe knocked around much? It looks pretty good from what I can see in the photo. I have a client who could use it if it's not dented.
Cheers,
K

Its good. Really had SFA use before being replaced with an aftermarket one.

If you want, I'll take some specific pics tomorrow if you want - but I probably won't be able to upload them until after Xmas.

Hi Nathan

Bring the IT250D pipe with you when you come over and we can compare it with mine.

Do you have a PE175 or parts of one?

Yes! Send me $8 and your postal address, and I'll post you a DS80 sidecover.

Deal done! :)

Mark, no worries. Sorry I didn't make it over last week - the Christmas vortex sucked me in earlier than I expected.

Tes, the levers already have your name on them.

Firko, I've already got someone sniffing around the Monty forks, but I'm not sure how serious he is. You've got second option at worst.
