yeah it's good if they fire up easily after putting in the hard toil,a 28mm carb is a bit small now days and it's got enough capacity to run a 32mm cab,i managed to take my ts185a intake tract out to 32mm from 26mm that they come with from the factory

All run in now and ready for it's first outing at Wandering on the 15th of August. I will put up some pics when I take some of my mate Marc, who will be racing it.

It makes excellent mid range and top end power and the gearing is just spot-on and quite quiet despite the muffler not being fitted yet.

Great work on the TM cyclegod but shouldn't it have a green background number for 250 class with a 185 motor???

Probably, but in W.A we run a graded system so it wouldn't matter if it were 400cc or 100cc I would still be in 'C' grade

There is a 73TS185 here that is is gathering dust.

I just had another DR500 delivered today and got talking to the seller about the ubiquitis TS185.
Got to wondering where the hell they all went to as when I worked for Mayfairs the Suzuki importer up here for many years , we sold shiploads of them. Most went west to the farmers (west Qld) but we sold 100's of the beggers. So many in fact that when Suzuki told us they were to be discontinued, we got together and rang around the country to see if we could put a special order in and got another production run of 1000 done and split the order up around Oz.
My point is that there must be heaps of them about somewhere and enough to make them a classic class of their own. I remember we had one as an enduro bike before the PEs came out and it was very handy in the scrub.
Hmmmm, a new vinduro project maybe???

First race meet was a HUGE success, the bike didn't miss a beat all day and for Marc to finish the day on the bike he started with was a big bonus for him

My thoughts exactly on that pic, it's Marc's favorite too, I think it's the yellow side covers they look so much better than the plain dull black ones.

Marc usually rides a CT110 for Aus post so they probably felt good to him, other than backing off the preload a little he had no complaints except all the 380's and 400's smoking him at the start.

I couldn't quiet put my finger on the style of riding-thanks that's answered the question. We have a girl in moderns that is the same, got her standing a wee bit and now there is no stopping her.
There is also an A grader having a vmx break this year who was also a postie.
One of the best professions to be in for vmx/mx,oh and of course BMX.   ;D
Cheers & enjoy the new found comfort of Suzuki  ;D

Every time I see this bike I'm inspired to get mine out and finish it. I'm only lacking two things. Money and TIME.
I'd love to have it going as the TM is such a fun bike to ride and the 185 would be like a 125 on steriods!

I'm really impressed with your bike God, I hope mine comes out as well
