Which Bike, Which Issue on VMX website
« on: September 04, 2007, 05:58:52 pm »
A blatant plug it may be but hope it's useul to some of you - we've just added a full listing of bikes, people and events that have appeared in VMX over the years, indicating in which issue the article appeared.  Go to the website www.vmxmag.com.au and click on the Which Bike, Which Issue button in the contents.

Thanks

Ken

$3500???!!!!  Holy Cow... Hmmmm.... Not enough to convince me to part with mine however! Weird huh?

Nice index Ken, very useful. I see Issue 31 is listed. How far off is that one from publication?

I don't see any 360/414 Monties in there Ken. C'mon. Ron Dinsdale wacked a lot of people on them and ended up going overseas and Dave Simpson showed everyone what one looked like in VIPER for a number of years. When are we gunna see the biggest "M"?

414 - that was indeed the best part about compiling the list (it has appeared in various forms in earlier issues of the magazine but was never very comprehensive nor did it tell you whether it was a full article, a modified bike etc) as it showed me where all the "holes" were in model coverage.  As with any feature article on a bike, we need an original, almost as new, example to display and that isn't always easy to find for some models.  Find an example of a 414 in that condition and I'll put it in, simple as that!  Send me a PM or just email me at the magazine.

Thanks

Ken
