Conondale is a first class riding facility and the Guys from VMX should be congratulated on the decision to run CD-6 at that location.

Judging from the last three Conondale classic events we have attended , CD-6 will be a smash hit at this facility.

The accomodation at Melany is second to none with Motels and B&B's galore.

Get ready , we are going on a road trip to a real nice place.

Write it on your calander , because if you don't go to this one you will miss out on a first class event.

Husky61 you are spot on mate the sunshine coast is only 30 minutes away, camping is beside a running creek and trees abound, you cannot get a better place to run it, it is however not as central as Raymond terrace was and travel can be an issue for interstate runners but it is in my opinion one of the best places you can think of having it (having done CD 4 and 5). We should thank the guy's at VMX mag and Suzuki for sharing it around and this venue will not disappoint. For the guys not running the nats you can ride the track that is hosting it and for the guys running at the nats you get to run the track as a practice before the event.

I threw in my hat as a sponsor for CD 5 and Ken you can count me in again for CD 6.

Paul,
if you're off to google earth, the nearest towns will be Malaney and Kenilworth with conondale in the middle. no real town to speak of, more a locality, and keep in mind that mobile phone coverage for the area can be a bit hit 'n' miss depending on your carrier.
absolute excellent venue! well done folks! bring it on!

Klub Kevlar will be in attendance for the sixth time but this time, due to our tropical surroundings the Kevlar Kompound will feature a Beach Hut/Tiki Bar theme. New bikes are being built as we speak, including a brace of Fly class 100s. Bring it on!
