Is that thing legal for pre '78? Doesn't it says something in the rulebook about the frame having to be original or something like that?

It's the '76 frame but it has been cut and the top shock mounts moved forward. I had seen that mod done back in the day.

if you want to use the bike for vindoros as well i can supply a complete 1976 mr250  motor with spare cr head and barrell.you can run lights leagly as the mr is a honda version of the it

 did I read that correctly, was sure the starting bid was $1,000  but now a few days later it is $1,300, am I imagining that or did the price go up

the price went up as i added a complete MR250 ELSINORE MOTOR AND A CR HEAD AND BARREL.changed back to 1000.00 and put 300.00 extra if the buyer wants the mr250& cr top end.

What's the background on that bike Jim? Any idea who raced it and moved the shocks forward?

i have no idea who moved the shocks.i bought it from a guy who moved to sydney from up were quiky comes from.i was going to have 2 elsinores but a pair of czs have come up so all my projects will have to go,starting with this cr and after mx250 yamaha then dt250 and dt360 all pre 1974.also most likly one of my mx360s as well

Where the hell did you find an MR250 motor? I didn't think any 250's were brought into the country.

i imported it myself,from california no mr250s came here.perfect vindro motor for the cr250m1
