just wondering didi the bottom end on my 125e and at the end of the gear shifter there is around 2 cm of up down play before it finds a gear is this normal the play seems to be where the selector shaft sits in the selector mechanism

Dude, check the service bulletins for your YZ. I believe there is a mod involving taking a file to selector mechanism, will get back to you when i find out for sure.

problem solved was missin a spacer in the selector
