Mandatory front & rear armour for classic riders say MA.

I just read an excerpt from the 2026 MA rule book, senior MX (including classic) riders must now wear front & rear body armour.

In the “safety” world we live in - I’m not surprised.
(I found out recently that 9” Angle grinders are banned in industry - I was first handed one as a 14yo at TAFE)

Can’t find the 2026 MOMS.
Does it specify a “standard” for the armour?
Or the “Roost Protectors” commonly worn will suffice?

Just had a read of the 2025 MOMS. Very interesting on the body armour and or guards.  Is the 2026 different wording or different classifications IE Seniors perhaps?
