A friend of mine has a nice 490. He has half the parts to make a second one, (no frame!) he is considering buying a “new” frame (Made in Holland?) and all the other parts he needs. He has made a comprehensive list - from Ohlins shocks to Cables. Adds up to around A$16K.
I suggested a good 490 would be worth around that. So potentially wait till one came up for sale….
I know second hand VMX bikes are worth exactly what at least one person is willing to pay - but is A$16K the ball park?
