Mikuni carburetor parts

Hello
Can anyone recommend Mikuni carburettor part supplier. Preferably EU,UK or US supplier. I know that Mikuni OZ is a great supplier but Auspost/StarTrack just keep loosing parcels and will not compensate for lost items. Just sick of using Auspost.

FYI. No matter where in the world your sending it from, Auspost/Startrack, will be the ones delivering it within Australia  unless you organise your own courier service. Most of the international courier companies ship small items to Auspost for final delivery. If you have tracking which 98% of packages do have, it can be traced  and proof of delivery(signature or photo evidence is available if selected) if it does go missing in Australia compensation can be paid. if compensation isnt offered at a guess the item has been delivered  but gone missing from that delivery point(stolen) or incorrectly addressed or. No proof of lodgement thus not a fault of Auspost.

Express post satchel $12, Trackable and next day delivery or two days if out of major regional areas.
Signature on delivery $2.95

 Remember you will need to be present at the address with adequate safe access for the delivery to be signed for, or it will be taken to a Post office and a card with pick up advice left at your front door or mailbox.

I can get parts shipped to my dad's address in Slovakia and pick them up when visiting him. No parts left in drive ways and carpark there.
Yes. I have tracking. It says delivered.But nobody can tell me who deliver it an where it was left. I am happy to pick up parcels from post office. I does not bother me. But since startrack started delivering mail I have seen parcels just tossed in a car park and left in front of storage rooms that every unit here has(not a safe place to leave a parcel).Most of delivery drivers can barely read speak or write English. I always leave a note for sender that I signature is required. Not sure who decides where the parcel is left. Its ok when you living in house but block of units is a diferent thing.
When I called post office and asked for compensation I was told that it is only up to 50 dollars for those deliveries. Well that's not even enough to pay for another part and have to pay shipping again. Could have two for that money. I know that Mikuni Oz is a great shop and have lots of parts in stock and ready for delivery but having a shit postal services does not help anybody. Just my experience wit Auspost

I too live in a unit and see your issue and yes, Units do pose an issue for parcel deliveries. A safe drop of parcels is compromised by other people using the same facilities and a mailbox needs to be large enough to insert the package but also secure . Again, not always possible with units. .If a safe drop is available according to the scanner then at the front door or mailbox is usual but every situation is different.Not advisable to use Safe drop unless you do have a reasonable secure private location.

My job is a relief delivery officer for Post so I cover other rounds for holidays sickies and whatever and Units can be difficult for access and security of goods, My rule is if I cant access for a signature or it doesnt fit in the mailbox it is carded for security. My advice first of all, go to the auspost website and sign up for a MYPOST account, its FREE.... from there you can apply for SMS tracking updates and also control certain aspects of delivery like changing location of delivery like to work or a friends place.,  if all the details of what can and cant be done are on the site. You can also see your options for insurance and compensation though it is dependant on the sender using the correct procedure when posting.

When placing the order, tell the supplier that a signature MUST be received. This ensures that the item will not be left unattended.STARTRACK parcels MUST have an Authority To Leave barcode to leave. If someone is not home to sign it will be taken to the post office and a card left advising you.
You can also apply at the post office for a secure post box or at some locations, lockers.

I know the delivery people that service my area and have told them where  to leave my parcels if they can. I also redirect some to work and the others I pick up from the local post office.I know close to 90% of the people on my regular rounds by name  and I talk to them about where to leave items, Get to know your postie and they can tell you what they can and cant do for you.
