We tend to think of the Forum as a small community so it hurts more when we get burnt.
While not related to forum purchases I do see a lot of the dodgy stuff out there that new owners send me after they have been caught out, usually interstate purchases where checking out the item yourself isn't always feasible;
welds done by pre-schoolers
dodgy looking frame repairs that are hidden under the tank or seat etc.
frames that have been bogged up
Have a fuel tank at the moment that is nearly a Kilo heavier than it should be, they even bogged the fuel tap on completely covering the bolts, nice paint job though
