TM250 / TS250 spoke differences

howdy,
I need a set of spokes for an early tm250 front wheel.
would a set of ts250/ts400 73-76 spokes do the job or are they different?

Tm has small 130mm hub and the TS250/400 has larger 150mm hub so spokes will be different length.

You want to be looking at some of the TS/TC125/185 sets, they could work but typically the nipples may be different length/diameter because of the steel rim most of the TS/TC use vs alloy on TM.
You will need to use Zedder and parts books to compare some part numbers.

This  is the same  hub as the TM250/400 &  RM250/370 A/B  hub  but is painted  silver and not black.

So spoke sets from these could work assuming spoke cross is the same. Count the cross on yours (2 or 3) and then check out photos of above wheels on ebay. Even if they are the same you may still find that the spoke nipples let you down if they are from chrome rims

I would be looking at 76 TS185 spoke set. That model at least has alloy rims so the spoke nipples in that could very well just work with the TM rim.
