First decent tuning run today after fitting vm34 carb. Tappets setting best at 5 and 7 thou. I went one extra tooth advanced from the kz cam timing. Also I removed a step up I found on the outlet inside the Chinese pit bike muffler I put on it. New bigger carb with larger diameter airbox boot, bigger filter area and opened air box, a huge difference, it just drives forward and revs so hard. I like to start in second and it used to struggle so I would ride the clutch out but now can just drop the clutch and it blasts away. Pick up the rebuilt shocks from RAD in Brisbane on Fri and then to the QLD titles at Tivoli this wkend. Should be heaps of bikes there.
