It was great , but i reckon it was the hardest loop i have ridden in the last 2 years, going over the bars twice didn't help  , they still put on the best weekend you can have with your pants on

What an outstanding two days Canowindra put on for us. Cool nights around the fire with a few beers and great days fine weather with a slight breeze to keep the track clear of the little dust made for a perfect first vindro of the season.
Lots of new faces and plenty of new people about taking a look at what its all about. In an amazing coincidence I even bumped into an old school friend who came out to check out the vinduro scene.
Very enjoyable. Mrs KDX and myself had an absolute ball on what could be called the perfect recipe loop, it had something for everyone.
Great to see everyone again.

Yep, such a great start to the vtr year. Catch up with the old faces, meet some new and of course do a few kays on the bikes.
Such a lot of people, more than I remember, vtr is sure doing it right I reckon.

Congratulations to the VTR Committee & all who helped prepare & set up for an awesome 1st VTR weekend for 2017. The weather could not have been better & it was obvious by the number that attended. The loop as always catered for & was enjoyed by all, which was noted by the chatter on Saturday night. The raffle, achievement awards, meeting, videos & photos on Saturday night created an atmosphere that included everyone, that is one of the features of our club that attracts so many new members.

Now we can  prepare & look forward to another at Yass.

Yep what a great start to the year. Thanks so much to all the VTR crew for their hard work as well as the Land owners, Prime 8 Racing and everyone else who was involved in making the event such a success.
The VTR facebook page is alive with photo's and and talk of the event and I can't wait to see some Video footage start to surface in the coming days but in the meantime here is some of the pics I took.

I went out on it for the first lap of the day and wasn't real happy with it so parked it for the rest of the day and rode the XR and DT instead. But made a few changes late Saturday and took it for a run Sunday and it was much better. Still a few little things to change and hopefully it will be right for Yass.
