Air Box lid
«

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone keeps the air box lid on? Does it restrict the air too much? Also I bought a uni filter and they come with a cover for the filter, does anyone use the cover or does it restrict too much air as well?
Thanks

I run the factory cover and my bike goes like a train. Apart from any impact on tuning I think it's there to direct muddy water etc away from the element.

Unifilter use a 2 piece filter, fine inner then a coarser outer foam which keeps the bigger stuff away from the fine foam. I assume the outer coarse foam is what you mean by a cover

I think he means the plastic bit that sits on top of the airbox that is usually the second thing that gets junked on most bikes.
