Broadford bike bonanza

Hats off to the crew for a MX track in prime condition for us to ride today. Had a blast.
The vinduro loop was a shocker, hopefully a new location or something for next year.
Maico's, the only way to go.

I spent the day spectating, but I reckon I spent just as much time talking to blokes I haven't seen in a while as I did watching the action on the various tracks. No complaints mind you, it was a great way to spend the day.

I wish I was riding the enduro loop thru the local forest tomorrow... And jeez the road bike guys look like they're having a blast, I'm keen to have a go at that too. Maybe riding again next year...

This event just seems to be getting bigger every year. Big crowd, lots of cool bikes; is there a similar event anywhere else in the world?

Tex

I had a fantastic weekend, and this year with the 3 bikes I took I managed to do every track there except for the Trials.  :) I had a ball on the road race track as usual and I quite enjoyed the new natural terrain hill course as well as the MX track although I need to upgrade the springs in the CR to be able to enjoy it fully, but the most fun I had for the weekend was getting out on the flat track for the first time ever. Wasn't sure if I would like it but I was determined to give it a try this year and absolutely loved it. As for the Vinduro loop I thought it was better than last year but they don't really have much to work with in that area to be able to improve it.
85' Husky TE510, 83' XR250R, 76' DT400C, 81' XL500S, 85' XL250R, 80' XT250, 82' XT200.
Hmmm, What should I buy next?
In case you were wondering it was an 85' CR250R. Then a 76' DT250 and a 01' XR250 and it didn't stop there

Spent 2 half days flagging on the MX track but managed to get a session in on the flat track on my 1968 montesa and had a blast, I have been volunteering for last 6yrs and have never seen the MX track looking so good. Good turnout great weekend.

Wow Broadford bike bonanza

What a Grate weekend . The Dirt track was Fully Booked  and Full of Bikes and the  Road race to was over full with Bikes .
Sad to say that the Motocross was low in numbers and Bikes ..but the was good news to this was that for all the MX riders as they were treated to a Top track with not a lot of bikes so you could ride all day .. and they Did ..Many I had talked to
had put 15 litres to 20 litres through their Bike on the saturday .. alone ... thats a lot of Riding ...

The swap meet was Poor Very Poor and I am sorry to say this  as One of the reasons I go is for the swap meeting..
In BBB passed they have been Very Good ..

Tony  had lots of Yamaha IT stuff .. But you could not find not much elis  .. :-\ :-\
