Wow, what a day at Nepean for the Sunday Slide, we were pitted with Yamaico Pete with his ex Springer Rotax and John with his Bullys, Alvin was there with his SC 500, Geoff Watto with his Weslakes, I was near in heaven . Wally was there, taking pics, Firko had a couple of bikes there, Neil, me old sparring partner at Boxers Creek  there as well, Slides was there with the BWP mob,it really was old home week

The star of the show, for me anyway, was the bike pictured, Bro Jim's duplex BSA framed 1954 all Alloy HS 500 Ariel,  a lovely bike, heaps of long-stroke boondi, and it went where ya pointed it, thanks Jim.

I brought the Ariel HS from the "Old Country" many years ago. It has a long history, Being originally raced by a Derbyshire rider Stuart Farrer who is up there with all the other good MX racers now.

It's in good hands now, Geoff, a wonderful bike ! Oh and Geoff, our mob is from Birmingham, near Selley Oak  !!

The old girl sounded good from behind too, it was great to see all the older blokes catching up with their mates and drooling over all the old machinery and having a fang around the track, should be more of it.
