Mono MV

"If a Zundapp or a Puch is not unique enough for you, you can line up to buy the one-off MV Monomoto pictured here. Here's the true story. This MV Augusta 60cc Monomoto Superleggera is the experimental machine ridden by young wealthy Italian Luiggi Bandini.  During practice for the 1954 Milano-Taranto Road Race, Bandini tragically lost control in a misty mountain section while waving to a pretty spectator. His grief stricken father, Count Enzio Bandini, “The Falcon,” never again permitted anyone to ride or even view this advanced design, and knowledge of its whereabouts faded. Eventually, rumors of this fascinating machine reached the motorcycling bon vivant Todd Fell. On a trip to Naples, Italy, his quest to find it was rewarded at the Bandini country villa, where, in 2004, fifty years after the tragic accident, the late Count's family was persuaded to part with the treasure"

Hmmm, I'm not sure what to think...as stories go this one is very clichéd.
'Young wealthy Italian dies on his Fathers invention whilst waving to a pretty girl...heartbroken Father (Count 'The Falcon' Bandini) parks it in a bedroom for fifty years before being persuaded to part with it'. :'(
Didn't this happen to a North Queensland Maico recently, resulting in a forum member packing his bags?

Maybe it's true, but can you see it's dripping with clichés? :-\

Can't for the life of me see why it wouldn't work? But then again… Hmmmm!

That must have been designed after a really, really long lunch!!!

Can't wait for the multi-cylinder, super fast version, or even the VMX offroad version?
VMX42

One a slightly different subject, has anyone seen the footage/photos of the Mountain Bike UniCyclists. Yeah, guys taking their uni-cycles offroad. One of those guys just might be crazy enough to test drive it.

Nope, I don't get it.
With your arse out there in the breeze and the bulk of the body weight to the left of the picture, I don't see how it could balance.
Acceleration would also add to the body shifting to the rear.
I'm sure many will disagree so pls let's hear it.

One would think that when you hit the brakes er brake that the rider would face plant amongst other things like falling off the back upon acceleration and speed wobbles/ stability issues. I'd put that straight in the pool room for sure.

It must be a racing model as I can't see a side stand!!!

Yep, I'm with you.
Maybe you can start it and hold it while it putts and poots but how does it balance under steam? Happy to be proven wrong, but I reckon it spends it's life in a Museum or atop some blokes bar.

Take a look out Yama's detailed photo;

1/ how does the drive work?
2/ Theres a brake lever but wheres the brake (besides braking would give a whole new meaning to nose drive ;) ;D)
3/What is the suspension suspending? ::)
4/Alloy h/bars too modern.
