Hi does any body out there know where I can find a very clean set of exhaust pipes for Yamaha XS650 special 1979  all I need for a resto?

Good news ,I know of a perfect set removed from a new 79 special the day of new purchase ,hanging wrapped in oiled cloth off a wall.
Bad news, the fookwit wants $5000   yes    Five thousand dollars for them!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
Try the XS650 clubs sites around the world, or maybe even "Wasp" (Walter) on this forum. cheers Tim754

hey tim, if you "borrow" said pipes they could be copied and would be much cheaper im sure. question...would he notice?
